You can start flying and logging hours at 14. If your instructor decides you are ready, solo at 16. You can take a GST at 17 years of age.

NPPL(A) & PPL (G)

By licence regulations 25 hours minimum for NPPL (A) and 40 hours for the PPL (G). But ability and other factors may well extend this.
